Comme lors de mes autres visites au "Coq aux champs", j'y ai trouvé une cuisine inventive et parfaitement maîtrisée, de même qu'un service attentionné et sans snobisme embarrassant.

2 petits bémols:
* le décor, autrefois classique et cossu, est devenu froid et quasi-clinique. Question d'appéciation personnelle, ...

Comme lors de mes autres visites au "Coq aux champs", j'y ai trouvé une cuisine inventive et parfaitement maîtrisée, de même qu'un service attentionné et sans snobisme embarrassant.

2 petits bémols:
* le décor, autrefois classique et cossu, est devenu froid et quasi-clinique. Question d'appéciation personnelle, mais je trouve que cela diminue l'attrait de l'endroit
* A 47€ le menu sans véritable première entrée, le menu "restaurant week" est en fait plus cher que le menu classique 4 services de l'endroit. Addition normale pour ce type de restaurant, mais au final décevante car aucun bonus n'a été apporté par l'action supposée spéciale de cette semaine. Une erreur involontaire? J'apprécierais en tout cas une petite explication.

la cote pour le confort est uniquement due à la température beaucoup trop basse dans le restaurant. Pour le décor c'est un décor moderne manquant peut etre de chaleur mais il y a une harmonie parfaite dans l'ensemble

At restaurant Le Coq aux Champs in Condroz, Christophe Pauly bases his kitchen on fair products and a creative approach. The chef connects freedom with tradition, purity and generosity.

Catherine draws a line with her husband and plays a crucial role in the restaurant. As a hostess she has the delicate task of the dialogue between host and cook to achieve a perfect osmosis between a plate and the enjoyment which it was created for. She also strives for the purity and the harmony that features the cuisine of Christophe.

Under a fiery mohawk, a painting by the Flemish artist Mi Van Landuyt, shines the room in beige and light gray shades in a soft but bright light. The contemporary decor of the room harmonizes flawlessly with the beautiful bluestone floor.
