We reserveerden een tafeltje voor 2 personen, en gingen voor de 4 gangen menu.
Bij de reservatie vroeg ik of een vegetarische menu mogelijk was.
Ik hoopte dat dit kon, maar ging er niet (vanzelfsprekend) van uit omdat de menu eigenlijk al vast stond.
We werden in Fidalgo leuk onthaald en kregen een gezellig tafeltje toegewezen.
De champagne was heerlijk...en tot mijn (zeer aangename) grote verbazing had de chef voor mij, van hapje tot dessert, een vegetarische versie gemaakt.
Zijn creaties waren subliem!!!! Om duimen en vingers van af te likken!!
Ik kon zien, proeven, ruiken...met al mijn zintuigen ervaren dat de chef mega moeite had gedaan voor mijn veggie-verzoek.
Ik ben al naar menig veggierestaurant geweest...maar deze niet-veggie-chef kan de veggie-chefs nog iets bijleren.
Ik wil ook de gastvrouw en haar lieve jonge "rechterhand" in de verf zetten. De gastvrouw kwam de wijnen telkens voorstellen...ze deed dit met een heerlijk charisma. De 2 dames in de zaal maakten de culinaire beleving af!
Het hele team van Fidalgo heeft voor een onvergetelijke ervaring gezorgd.
Hartelijk dank aan de chef en zijn hele team...onze 16-jarige-jubileum hebben we in stijl gevierd ❤

Ik woon nog niet lang in Tienen, maar het was een aangename kennismaking. Kortbij waar ik woon, gezellig, en zeer lekker. Het aangepaste wijnmenu was uitzonderlijk lekker en zeer goed van prijs. Ik ga nog eens terug.

Mooie inrichting met kaarsen wat altijd voor een gezellige sfeer zorgt. Bijpassende wijnen waren lekker. Soms een extra woordje uitleg zou mogen. Eten en amuses waren lekker. Prijskaartje klopt! Ik ga bij gelegenheid zeker nog eens terug.

Every dish is thought-through extensively and reflects the chef's talent, who highly values simplicity as well as impeccable quality. The menu is changed seasonally and every month a new menu is prepared based on seasonal products.

Restaurant Fidalgo's separate smoking area gives access to the garden where you can enjoy your lunch or dinner in a green oasis on sunny days. Freshness and seasonal ingredients are first priority and the restaurant takes great care to make families, business associates and groups feel at home in a peaceful and private atmosphere.

1. Do I need to pay upfront?

No, for most restaurants you don't have to pay upfront when you make a reservation.
Some restaurants only accept reservations with a small down payment, this is clearly indicated when making a reservation.
