Smakelijke kennismaking met Mistinguett. We waren ingeschreven en hadden herinneringsberichten van Dining with the stars ontvangen. Mistinguett kon ons niet terugvinden in hun systeem en toch konden we aansluiten bij de lunch. Vriendelijk!
Hier komen we nog eens terug want de andere gerechten (niet specifiek voor diningcity) mochten er zijn.

Dessert was met bloedappelsien en yoghurt. Dit vond mijn vrouw zeer lekker. Ik iets minder, anderzijds was het wel fris en licht dus perfect om af te sluiten.

Kortom een leuke ervaring in ons thuisstad Aarschot.

De gerechten waren verzorgd en oogden goed. Voldoende creativiteit in de borden. Wel geen wauw-gevoel qua smaken. De bediening was ondermaats. telkens moeten vragen wat er op het bord lag. Voorkomen wat slordig.

About Mistinguett

Francesca Sterckx was born on October 26, 1988 in Diest. At the age of 20 she took her first steps in the hospitality industry at Hotel School Ter Duinen in Koksijde. Here she learned all the tricks of the trade and followed an extra year of specialty restaurant and world cuisine. She then followed a further year of specialization in patisserie - chocolaterie in Ter Groener Poorte in Bruges.

After her training, she did an internship in the following kitchens of Maison Bru (Wout Bru, Eygalières, France), MOO (Barcelona, ​​Spain), Arrop (Valencia, Spain) and Hof ter Hulst (Hulshout, Belgium). After her internships, Francesca has worked in the following star restaurants: De Tuinkamer (Beerzel), Het Eyckerhof (Bornem chef De Becker) and 't Fornuis (Antwerp chef Johan Segers).

After 5 years she is now starting a new challenge in her career. With the opening of her own bistro Mistinguett, Fran has found a place where she can creatively transform all those years of experience into delicious dishes.-
